Cadillac XT6: A Dreamy Luxury Crossover

The 2020 Cadillac XT6 is the car company’s first three-row crossover SUV. This new vehicle is smaller and lighter than the full-size Escalade. Cadillac’s new SUV is similarly sized to the Audi Q7, and it offers a spacious third-row seat. SUV buyers will find that it’s easy to access the third row because the second row tilts and shifts forward. When all three rows are in use, owners will have access to 12.6 cubic feet of cargo room. The seats fold down, giving owners 78.7 cubic feet of cargo space when they need it.

There are two trim levels available with the Cadillac XT6, which are the Premium Luxury and Sport trim. Both models are equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Premium Luxury trim includes front-wheel drive, but buyers can upgrade it to an all-wheel drive. Sport trims have all-wheel drive as a standard feature. In the category of fuel economy, the front-wheel-drive edition gets 18 miles per gallon in the city and 25 miles per gallon on the highway while the all-wheel-drive model achieves 17 miles per gallon during city commutes and 24 miles per gallon on the open road.

Both XT6 trims include attractive amenities like a large infotainment system that has an 8-inch touchscreen and a secondary dial controller. Tech gear in the SUV consists of Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, six USB ports and satellite radio. The SUV has a 4G LTE Wi-Fi connection along with a wireless charging pad.

Buyers will appreciate the safety gear that comes with the Premium Luxury trim level. Safety features include parking sensors, automatic emergency braking, and a blind-spot warning system. It even has lane keep assist and a rear vision camera. The Sport trim features the same equipment, but it also has an adaptive suspension in addition to towing assistance and black exterior trim enhancements.

SUV buyers have the option of customizing their XT6 with gear like a Bose sound system, upgraded leather upholstery, and a fancier interior trim. A navigation system and adaptive cruise control are other upgrades to consider. Cadillac has night vision technology available, and this feature takes advantage of infrared to spot pedestrians or large animals that are located out of view of the vehicle’s headlights.

Cadillac is offering the SUV in colors like Satin Steel Metallic, Red Horizon Tintcoat and Stellar Black Metallic. The vehicle’s exterior is attractive. It has a sleek look with a noticeable grille and a smooth body.

The Cadillac XT6 is a comfortably sized SUV that comes with a pleasant exterior and a luxurious interior. Both trim levels are well-equipped, offering consumers value. Those who select the SUV will surely be pleased with their vehicle choice.
