The 2019 Lincoln Nautilus

The 2019 Lincoln Nautilus is the carmaker’s midsize SUV, and it’s one that is sure to attract car buyers. The vehicle has a catchy grille and a sporty exterior. It features LED headlamps, stylish front fenders, and a sleek hood. Lincoln paid attention to the rear end by designing this section of the SUV with a lower bumper and good-looking rear lighting. It features turbine-style wheels, giving the vehicle a little more flash.

Under the hood, the carmaker equipped the vehicle with a 2.0-liter inline-four engine that gets 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. It also comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The engine is quiet, but it has plenty of pick-up. The 2019 front-wheel-drive Lincoln Nautilus gets 21 miles per gallon in the city and 25 miles per gallon on the highway while the all-wheel-drive model receives 20 miles per gallon around town and 25 miles per gallon on the highway. An engine upgrade is available for car buyers who want more power. The upgrade is a 2.7-liter V-6 engine that gets 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque.

To improve ride comfort, Lincoln added adaptive dampers and new bushings on the Nautilus. Those who buy the SUV will have access to different driving modes, which are Comfort, Sport and Normal. To provide them, the mode system modifies the steering weight and the damping. Most drivers will prefer the Normal mode because it is tight enough to prevent body roll on winding roads. However, this mode still delivers a luxurious ride. The Sport mode firms things up a bit and the Comfort mode adds a bit of float to the driving and riding experience.

Lane-centering assist is a nice option that is available with the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus. Drivers can use it with standard adaptive cruise control. It works best on well-marked freeways, but it doesn’t take the place of an alert human driver. Evasive steering assist, blind-spot monitoring, and post-collision braking are also available with the SUV.

Lincoln equipped the 2019 Nautilus with a digital gauge cluster, which is a 12.3-inch unit. The touchscreen infotainment system is located in the center of the dashboard, and it is user-friendly. There are also knobs and switches below the unit for those who prefer them. Interior design themes include Chalet. This package features off-white leather with silver wood trim and dark-brown accents. Gala is another option. The Gala package includes dark maroon leather with aluminum trim and black accents. Buyers can also go with Thoroughbred. SUVs with this design come with black leather, Chilean Maple wood trim and brown accents.

Bringing home the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus is a smart move. It is a perfectly sized SUV, one that has plenty of cargo space for road trips and groceries. The vehicle features a spacious interior and all the fun technology that drivers want and expect.
