The 2019 Nissan Titan: A Truck That's Just Right

With most pickup trucks falling into either the full-size or small category, there’s one that walks the line between them: the 2019 Nissan Titan. The new Titan can seat as many as six people, and it’s available in a regular cab as well as in a king cab and a crew.

Nissan has tweaked and updated the exterior of the truck. It’s modern and streamlined with an aggressive grille and sweeping lines. The Titan is the perfect size since it’s not quite as big as a full-size truck nor is it as small as the littler pickups out there.

The price range for the Nissan is from around $30,000 to $54,000. The base model comes with 18-inch painted-steel wheels in addition to cloth upholstery and a satellite radio. Upgrading to the SV model adds 18-inch alloy wheels, tow hooks and skid plates. This model comes with trailer sway control in addition to heated and power exterior mirrors.

The Nissan is available in just one engine, which is a 5.6-liter V-8 engine that produces 390 horsepower. Nissan paired the engine with a seven-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle gets 15 miles per gallon during city drives and 20 miles gallon on the highway. Truck buyers have the choice of purchasing the Titan in rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. When equipped with the right gear, the truck has the power to tow up to 9,660 pounds.

Buyers can purchase the 2019 Nissan Titan in three different bed lengths. These are the 5-foot, 6-foot and 8-foot lengths. Nissan made the truck even more useful by offering a number of available features such as the 120-volt power outlet, a tie-down system that comes with adjustable aluminum cleats and a spray-on bedliner.

The Nissan Titan comes with handy tech features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has a touchscreen multimedia system that includes Bluetooth and USB connectivity. Remote keyless entry and power windows are standard features while luxury upgrades consist of built-in navigation and leather upholstery. To really rock out, buyers can upgrade the Titan with a Fender premium stereo.

Nissan is offering safety features like rear cross-traffic alert and a blind-spot warning system with the pickup. Consumers can get the vehicle with Rear Door Alert, which reminds the driver to check the backseat. This feature is available on the king and crew cab models.

Those who get the luxury model will enjoy amenities like a trailer brake controller, heated and cooled front seats and a 360-degree camera. The high trim level also comes with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and heated rear seats as well as open-pore wood trim.

The 2019 Nissan Titan is a truck that will fit into any buyer’s garage. Available in colors like Java Metallic, Cayenne Red Metallic and Brilliant Silver Metallic, those who purchase a Nissan Titan will own a truck that they’re sure to love.
