The 2020 Cadillac CT-4: A Modern Sports Sedan

Right now, the auto market is largely about the SUV, but there is a sporty sedan on the way. This year, Cadillac revealed its new sports sedan, the compact CT4-V, during the Detroit auto show. Replacing the ATS-V, the 2020 CT4-V is just right size-wise. It features a sleek exterior and an elegant interior, making it the perfect car for those who want something nice to look at that’s still comfortable to ride in.

The 2020 CT4-V comes with the same chassis as the Chevy Camaro. According to early reports, the vehicle has a nice combination of agile handling and the latest technology. Cadillac is manufacturing the car with a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, one with high-output and able to generate 320 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Like the Sierra and Silverado pickups, the new Cadillac will deliver power to the rear wheels or all four wheels using a standard limited-slip differential and a 10-speed automatic transmission.

This is a sedan that will be available in rear or all-wheel drive. Buyers who choose rear-wheel drive will receive a vehicle with the car company’s Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 suspension. Summer performance tires are an optional amenity while the vehicle model’s all-wheel-drive version comes with classic ZF dampers in addition to all-season rubber tires.

Both the rear-wheel-drive model and the all-wheel-drive version feature large Brembo front brakes and a customizable V-Mode drive setting, perfect for long drives down winding roads. When the vehicle model is outfitted with the standard 18-inch alloy wheels, the sedan should have almost perfect 50/50 weight balance. Cadillac equipped the vehicle model with MacPherson struts. The rear has a multilink design.

The vehicle model’s exterior comes with dark exterior accents. It has a stylish mesh grille in addition to quad exhaust tips and a rear spoiler that works to decrease lift. Since the new CT4-V has the Alpha platform, it will also come with the most recent electrical architecture and Cadillac’s hands-free driver assistance system called Super Cruise. The system is designed to operate on more than 130,000 miles of various freeways in the U.S. and Canada.

The Cadillac CT4-V comes with a luxurious interior, one with plenty of room for passengers. It features an advanced infotainment unit and a nice audio system. The vehicle has leather seats and plenty of cargo space. According to early predictions, the car company is likely to price the vehicle in the low $40,000 range.

With the Cadillac CT4-V, car buyers will have a vehicle that they’ll be proud to own. It’s a car that’s fun to drive due to its power, handling, and size. Consumers who go with a Cadillac will have a sophisticated and elegant vehicle.
